Restaurant Cafe Rix in Berlin

Great new playground for children of all ages.

I've known the place for over 22 years. At that time the café was already being used as a gallery. I love the atmosphere there. For some time (parental leave & Corona-related) I have been using the delivery service, with which I am completely satisfied. There is no better delivered lunch.

Nice place to go for breakfast or brunch. The building is charming and have a good variety of food. Can be a little bit pricey (we had a English breakfast for 9.50€). Service could be better

Well well ... we had ordered the spaetzle with mountain cheese and mushrooms, unfortunately totally bland and almost tasteless. The mushrooms looked like canned mushrooms. Salt couldn't save the whole thing either. The 10.50 per dish annoys me.

We were here for dinner for the first time and are very surprised that Karl-Marx-Straße has such wonderful facets to offer. The Cafe Rix has an excellent location, great food and very friendly and attentive service. It wasn't our last visit.

Great lunch menu and very friendly waiter. One point deduction for the always bad-tempered waitress who is there from the afternoon.

The location is definitely interesting, romantic backyard, seats outside are pleasant in the heat (except for the garbage smell from the neighboring house, but the restaurant can't help it) I would like to emphasize: the products / dishes are great, the self-smoked salmon tasted best! We recommend!!! I've never eaten anything so delicious in Berlin! The coffee is also mega! The plates are very nicely arranged! Really great presentation !!! Unfortunately we had to wait a very long time for our breakfast, the cheese suffered as a result. And was already more fluid ... Was still edible anyway. Some guests got their food / drinks before us even though we had ordered first. It shouldn't be. Conclusion; Service should be improved, breakfast great, coffee very tasty, also with other types of milk! We would have liked more bread or pastries, but it worked! We'll be back and give the team another chance 😉 maybe they had a bad day! It can happen!

small hidden oasis in the heart of Neukölln, located at the home port, changing daily specials, beautiful courtyard with seating, delicious rollberg beer, fair prices.

Great food and nice staff (especially very child friendly). And really an oasis in the middle of the bustling Karl-Marx-Straße. Also a good tip in midsummer because the backyard is nice and cool.

A nice, cozy location. Breakfast was delicious, but two had to wait almost 45 minutes ... Apart from that, a great place for a short relaxing break!

Quite unfriendly staff and little turned towards children. Food ok, but not really convincing in terms of quality. The location is really nice in the back yard.

Good beers, a nice menu (small but nice), a good selection of tea specialties and a very courteous service ensure a carefree stay. Due to the location in the back yard, we didn't notice anything about the city traffic. A small oasis in the lively Neukölln. Only the lack of cake and cake selection ("only a cheesecake") prevent the 5-star rating.

Nice restaurant with a good selection of dishes. Quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle. Unfortunately, reaching the toilets is a problem, especially for the elderly.

Wanted to order and was really looking forward to schnitzel and asparagus. Then the call came ... No more schnitzel and I should cancel the order in the app myself. Great number! Not at all!

Berlin 30's charm, tourists free

Beautiful ambience. Prices are reasonable for that. The service was very friendly and gave us good and patient advice even though it was quite full. Would recommend a reservation. Gladly again!

Very good Spätzle and cozy atmosphere.

Coffie was fine but we were ignorere by the two waiters for 20 min when wanting to pay. They knew we wanted to leave, but startede to clean tablets instead of using 2min of their time to get the check. There is no excuse for this..

A cosy corner with old world charm. Popular among the native Berliners. You suddenly feel cut away from all the action and crowd that is typical of Neukoln. Average prices. Good place to meet if you prefer a quiet place with multi lingual staff.

Lovely "grant" location... Yummy fries & cake. Staff was really nice and obliging. Only the "lamp/art" was wired ;)

Good restaurant, the meals are fine, but nothing extraordinary.

All a little bit confused somehow. But maybe dedicated to the site. Area is really great as the ceiling and the surrounding is nicely renovated. Restaurant can be att need without the theatre. Food gad been comparable good with some variety of the card. You might not exactly get what was advertised or a little different than expected. But nice and onest. A place to be several times!

We were there during our stay in Berlin and we loved it. The menu was rich and we could picked what we liked. The food super tasty and the staff very friendly. I do recommand this place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They even had a special local beer

It's open sundays, excellent and generous brunchs. Good service friendly. You can have lunch later. Excellent option.

Place is beautiful and the people really looked like they were enjoying. Shame that we were not even greeted when entering the "restaurant", and had to go to the bartender, who was actively trying to make sure not to see us, and eventually tell us that the brunch was over at 1:30 (when website says 2:30). Good luck

Not very good service. Wasn't told that we needed to book a table, nor was there any reserved signs on the table, yet we were told after we started eating that we sat in the wrong place. Food wasn't great, large selection but nothing exciting.

For a coffee shop you should expect a little more selection of cakes on Sunday afternoons. In the very small showcase were only 3 cake leftovers. Otherwise Ambiente and prices in order.

Nice cafe restaurant in a former dance hall with beautiful ceiling and big mirrors. Big menuez,coffee and cake.

Super cool place with a very kind waiter. I imagine the place is even better in the summer, as we went mid-winter and looked longingly at the outdoor seating.
